Eu vreau doar sclipirea spiritului său” - afirma marele sculptor Constantin Brancusi.

Bird 8 is a part of the favorite collection of sculptures signed by the artist Alexandru Marinete. Such a series of art works was exhibited in Dubai, as part of the Romania New Nature exhibition.
The artistic concept of the work is based on the vision of creating a non-figurative sculpture. Stylization is characterized by the blurring of certain characteristics and the relief, of what we can call symbolic, of feelings (in this case of evolution, elevation, the desire for spiritual elevation).
The novelty of symbolism is represented by this last work, Bird 8, through the beauty of the concrete invisible. This work of art leaves our spirit free to explore the infinite, like a bird in the air.
"When you see a fish, don't you think of its scales? You think of his speed, of his sparkling body that you see floating through the water. Well, that's exactly what I tried to express. If I had made him fins and eyes and scales, I would have stopped his movements and presented him to you through a sample or form of reality. I just want the sparkle of his spirit" - affirmed once the great sculptor Constantin Brancusi.
